How WireNet handles data.

This website is hosted using services provided by Vercel Inc. To deliver and secure the site, the hosting provider may process technical request data such as IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer and user agent in server logs.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: the legitimate interest in providing a secure and reliable website. Details are available in Vercel’s privacy policy and data processing terms.

If you write to WireNet, Florian processes the contact details and message content you provide in order to answer your inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual communication and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for general inquiries.

The mailbox is provided through Google Workspace. Google processes message content and associated metadata to provide and secure the email service. Details are available in the Google Cloud Privacy Notice.

If the newsletter form is active and you subscribe, your email address is sent directly to Buttondown LLC for newsletter delivery. The form uses double opt-in: the subscription is completed only after you confirm the email sent to you. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

You can withdraw consent through the unsubscribe link in every newsletter. Buttondown processes subscriber data and delivery metadata as WireNet’s service provider. Details are available in Buttondown’s privacy policy.

Resource PDFs are served as ordinary website files. WireNet does not require registration to download them. The hosting provider may process the same technical request data described above when a PDF is requested.

If a booking link is shown on the contact page, it is a normal external link and no booking widget is embedded on wirenet.dev. Only after you follow that link does the booking provider receive the technical request data and any information you submit there. Its own privacy policy then applies.

WireNet sets no cookies and uses no advertising trackers, tracking pixels or cross-site identifiers, does not profile visitors and makes no automated decisions based on website data.

To understand which pages are read and how quickly they load, the site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. These measure page views and loading performance without cookies and without storing any identifier on your device. No data is used to recognise you across sites or visits, and none is shared with advertising networks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: the legitimate interest in understanding which material is useful and in keeping the site fast.

Email correspondence is retained as long as necessary to answer the inquiry, manage a business relationship and meet statutory obligations. Hosting logs are retained by the provider according to its operational and security policies.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also complain to a competent data protection authority.
